Join me for a fun evening of sewing, learning new skills, and connecting with other homeschooling moms!

This special one-evening sewing class is designed for beginners and those looking to refresh their sewing skills. No previous sewing experience is required!

Throughout the evening, we’ll review the basics of using a sewing machine, practice essential sewing techniques, and work on three beautiful projects you can take home.

THE PROJECTS

Triangle Pin Cushion

We’ll begin by creating a triangle pin cushion. This project introduces basic stitching, seams, turning, stuffing, and finishing techniques.

Leather Needle Book

Next, we’ll create a practical leather needle book to keep your hand-sewing needles organized. A beautiful little addition to your sewing kit!

Wide Leg Pants with Hidden Side Pockets

Our main project of the evening! You’ll learn how to construct your own comfortable wide leg pants, complete with an elastic waistband and hidden side pockets. We’ll practice sewing seams, attaching pockets, finishing edges, and hemming.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

• Sewing machine basics and a review of essential techniques
• Straight stitching, backstitching, seams, and hems
• How to make a triangle pin cushion
• How to create a leather needle book
• How to sew wide leg pants with hidden side pockets

Time: 6:30–8:30 PM

Location: Rocky View County (exact address provided after registration)

Cost: $85 per person

Included: All materials, use of a sewing machine, and your own take-home sewing kit.

Drinks and snacks will also be provided!

Class sizes are kept small to allow for individual instruction and hands-on learning.
