It invites us to begin again—slowly, honestly, with intention.
This year at Made by CJ, the focus isn’t on doing more, producing faster, or chasing trends. It’s on purposeful making. Choosing quality over quantity. Letting each piece take the time it needs. Creating from a place of care, faith, and presence.
Every jacket begins with reclaimed materials that already carry a story. Fabric that’s been lived in. Materials that have history. I don’t believe in erasing that story—I believe in honouring it and giving it new life. Purposeful making means paying attention to details, to process, to the hands that create and the women who wear each piece.

My faith plays a quiet but steady role in this work. It shapes how I create, how I rest, and how I move forward. I believe creativity is meant to be stewarded, not rushed. That making something well—thoughtfully, prayerfully, with integrity—matters.
